As I have mentioned before, I live in Orange County, CA. There is a gigantic gap in terms of living conditions when compared to the rest of the world. It is really shameful were we live, mostly blind to what goes on in the rest of the world. For example, just after the  Haiti earthquake, our school of 1,400 kids had a fundraiser to help the people of Haiti. Despite having many children who own Lamborghini`s, Bentleys, Jaguars, countless Mercedes, etc, we only ended up raising $2000. Now this may seem like a large sum of money, but when you take a look at a Lambo`s price tag (upwards of $300,000), it is nothing

What makes it even worse, most of the money comes from a few select people who donate a lump sum. That means that actual participation was very scarce. Now, if you look at total donations on a global scale it is even more appalling. The USA donated $466,000,000 about $1.50 per person, Japan-France-UK,  just $0.5 per person, Germany just $0.25 per person, Italy $0.15 per person, and Russia only $0.04 per person. Now these are some of the wealthiest countries on earth and to have people literally donating pennies is straight up selfish. The average world donations were $0.35! I`ll still continue on this article.
